Calling all parents. I need help. I love my children, but they are driving me insane. You all know me. I'm not a very patient person. But I'm working on it. So here's the situation:
Chase & Izzy love each other. They sleep in the same room & Tait & I can hear them laughing & giggling for hours when they go to bed. Also, they have adorable moments during the day. I will often find them buliding towers together, holding hands, & having a grand old time. The pleasantness is usually around 50 percent of the time.
And the other 50 percent is that part that makes me want to get my tubes tied right now. Apparently Chase's general happiness annoys Izzy. You know when you're in a fight with someone & just the sound of their breathing annoys you?? That's Izzy. One second Chase is making her laugh with a joke, and the next she is screaming "NO!" over & over at him b/c he's annoying her. And he knows he's annoying her. He does it on purpose, over & over again. He tries to find just the word or sound that annoys her & then he'll repeat it & repeat it just to make her angry.
Now, I could go on & on venting about their bickering, but I won't. I am just desperately asking you wiser & more experienced (not to mention, more patient) people to help me. This is a "save the children" kind of cause here. haha. just kidding. No, but really- any advice, book recommendations, anything. I'll take it.
