FOOD STORAGE PROJECT... continued eons later

Wow, so it's been a while since I did any of this, but since we were in a little basement apartment all summer, there was really no place to put any more food storage. And since I know ALL of you were waiting & waiting on the edge of your seats for my next food storage entry, here it is. It could be a good New Year's resolution. It's definitely on my to-do list this year.

WEEK 6:
MEAL: HAWAIIAN HAYSTACKS
24 cans Cream of Chicken Soup (2 per meal)
12 cans chicken(1 per meal)
24 cups hot cooked rice (4 cups per meal)
EXTRA SUPPLIES:
1 Gallon Water
3 boxes femine hygiene products (could we really survive w/o them??)
EASY, RIGHT!??
Here are the directions for the meal:
Cook rice. Add chicken to soup to create gravy. Heat & serve over rice.
TIPS:
You can top this w/ a wide variety of canned or fresh items. Listed are only food storage items that may be available.
If you don't want to buy the water, you can always use a 2 liter soda bottle instead (wash it well). However, I heard that you aren't supposed to store your water in milk jugs. Don't know why.
OK, THAT'S IT. LEAVE A COMMENT & BRAG A LITTLE WHEN YOU GET YOUR STUFF!

P.S. If you wanted to see weeks 1-5, you can find them in May, April & March of 2009.
