There are two very special words in the Larson house: "Waffle" & "Day". The kids go wild whenever those two little words are spoken. Waffle day is a tradition in our house, and Chase & I woke up early to surprise Papa & Izzy. However, Chase decided to add a special ingredient....
The table was set, the toppings were out, the eggs beautifully fried. And after making our very own waffle masterpieces, we took that very anticipated first bite. Crunch...crunch...crunch. Chase had dropped a sizeable amount of eggshells in the batter. Even Tait, who will eat almost anything, had a hard time gulping it down. Needless to say, today was not one of our better waffle days.
