OUR 1ST (& hopefully only) TRIP TO THE ER
I had to take Chase to the ER today. Don't worry, he's ok. We went there more because of lack of options rather than acutally emergency. (I'm not a fan of the free health care idea, by the way. I don't think any of us army wives are, because this is what we, more often than not, are subjected to.) Anyways, his cheek all of a sudden started swelling on his left side. He had been complaining about "owies" the day before, but we thought it was just a canker sore. Poor little guy. Turns out he somehow developed a viral infection in his parodic gland. Though it was a little scary for a while, it turned out not to be as serious as the nurses made it out to be. He should get better soon. He's so sad when he hurts. He was such a good boy, though. Through all of the waiting & waiting (& waiting & waiting) he was SO good- just reading his books & playing with his toys (it's times like these when my 50 lb. diaper bag comes to the rescue). I bought him a Thomas the Train at the end of the long day, & all was good again. Cute little sad, swollen cheeks.

Poor little guy! He's so tough, huh! I bet that was torture for you guys. It's a killer seeing those adorable, innocent kiddos in pain!
Oh bummer, not a fun way to spend the day. Glad everyone is okay though- welcome to the world to blogging :) I'm so glad I can catch up with the family this way....
we will miss you guys,
hurry up and come home!!!
I'm glad to hear that Chase is okay. The ER is never a place where you want to be. We've had our rediculous long waits there too, and it's torture. Glad you all made it through.
i love these moments - not when they're sick - just when they're so good and you're proud to call them your child. it makes up for the 50 other moments where you felt like pulling your hair out. does it ever make you nervous knowing they're part-elizan? i look for crazy signs all the time...
ah, i did the collage in picasa. easy and free to download the software from google. check it out.
What a beautiful job you've done with your blog! You're opening family photo is gorgeous! I have enjoyed going through your blog and Jeremy and Challis' this Sunday afternoon. I love all of the pictures everyone puts up. Today has brought back many fond memories of the blessing I have had to get to spend precious time with each of Dave's siblings/families throughout the years. I would love to view the other family blogs I see listed out there, but please send an invite to my email address--because if it goes to Dave's, I'll never know about it.:) Love to all of you!
Tammy,
Hi! I don't have your email address!! I only have Dave's. What is it?
Love you,
Stacey
