HALF MARATHON!!!

I did it! Well... we did it. But for Tait, it was more of a nice stroll through the mountains.

This was a great race. It's strange to say, but I actually enjoyed it. It was mostly an easy, slight downhill course, beginning at Sundance and finishing at Provo Tabernacle Park. The miles, along with the beautiful trees, waterfalls and hills, seemed to fly by. And by mile 10 or so I realized, "This is no longer a big deal. This is... for lack of a better word... easy. I'm good at this." The sense of accomplishment was sublime. I don't know where or at what point along this whole running endeavor it happened, but somewhere along the way: I became a runner.

Congrats. Seriously. I've done one half marathon and want to do another one next spring.

Wow. Who are you??? Too cool and healthy for me and my Krispy Kreme loving butt! Awesome Stace, I'm amazed and impressed. Question. I know you've had knee issues in the past. What do you do to keep them healthy and ok during all the running? What a strong woman. If you can run a half marathon, you can endure a long deployment. Endurance is your middle name! Or one of the many. love you.
