In the blink of an eye...
It was so strange to have him here, all of sudden, in our every day world. Like if a celebrity were to pop out of your tv screen and come do the dishes with you. Cause that's what he is to us. A celebrity. We watch movies of him every day (home videos of him reading to kids). Dolls and action figures have been made after him ("Daddy dolls"). We even have his autograph (in letters to home). He is our most wonderful guy. And man, are we going to miss him. More than I can even let myself think about. But here are the few pictures I could get.

You are the teardrops on my computer keyboard. I am so sad thinking about what you felt and are still feeling with him gone. Not what I want for my best friend. But the man you married, that's exactly what I've always wanted for you. He's so worth it!! It's beyond misery saying goodbye to such a great man, but only because he is wonderful, and it sure is nice to have wonderful nearby. The best comfort I can give, is he will come home. It may be hard to see while staring down a dark 12 month tunnel, but the tunnel ends, and believe it or not, your whole family will be stronger after the experience. Closer too. Odd to think that so much distance can combine to make closeness, but it will. Love you forever.
