Now, I know that in the grand scheme of things (ie. world hunger, poverty, etc. ) this cupcake thing isn't really a big deal. But it makes me livid. LIVID. (Hence all of the all caps words.) It makes me want to throw the pan against the wall & have an Izzy tantrum.
So, that is a promise to myself. Never. Again.

and this is why i just don't bake. period. because then you have to clean out the pan. that and the fact that i am a terrible baker. i bet those cupcakes still probably tasted super delish. it all goes down the same way.
Did you butter or grease the muffin tin? That might work. In a pinch you can also use wax paper- I've done that before, and it seems to be a new trend for muffins in coffee or bakery shops. Just cut a square, push the middle into the cup, press/fold the excess to the sides, and let the points stick up out of the cup. It's a bit awkward pouring the batter into them, but not too bad, and less awkard than scraping out cupcakes!!
