People sometimes ask, "So what's going on w/ you??" I then tell them about Chase's preschool, Izzy's princess phase, or the detailed descriptions of Gabi's diapers. But when they repeat the question & ask about me, the Mama formerly known as "Stacey," I find myself stumped. Hmmm... what is going on w/ me?? I don't really know. My life is so wrapped up in my kids. And I don't mind it. They are my life & my passion right now (later it will be languages & traveling). But for now, they & my hubby are it. So, in answer to that looming question... diapers, 1st smiles, meals, cleaning, time-outs & storytime are what's going on w/ me.
Oh, and vacuuming. Vacuuming is what's going on w/ me. I never thought I'd be the type of woman who got excited about a vacuum, but it turns out... I am. I love this Dyson vacuum.
I find this oddly & grossly fascinating...
HAPPY NEW YEAR, by the way.

i meant to comment on this a week ago--
i loooove seeing new pix of all of you.
mas mas mas!!
i wish we were backyard neighbors.
i'd hand you eggs over the fence.
or over no fence, just beautiful golden grass.
te quiero, prima.
Igualmente (to aud's comment). And I, too, love my non-suction-losing dyson. It made me love vacuuming in a way I never knew i could love vacuuming. If only someone could invent something that would make me love bathroom cleaning in the same way.
You're not alone in the Dyson love. I don't think I can count how many women I know who recieved a Dyson for Christmas or a birthday gift- because it's WHAT THEY ASKED FOR!!!! I know. If you had told me when were 16 that we'd call each other to talk about our cool new vacuums, I would have laughed at you, and made some comment about how maybe that will be you, but I will be much cooler, and live a much more romantic life. haha.
Happy New Year! Your life is beautiful, as being a mommy of three beautiful children and the wife of a prince charming should be. What else is there to want? Travel is for old retired people. You can laugh at Izzy's phonecall about her new vacuum while you're visiting Paris and Rome. I'll laugh too, because of course we'll be traveling with you, so the guys can talk about planes some more. Because that will never get old, even when we're old.
