My little Chase just turned five and to celebrate we had a Toy Story/ Movie Theatre themed birthday party. It was really quite fun & easy. I put little "movie tickets" in the invitations for each kid to bring. And when they "paid" their movie ticket they were rewarded with popcorn, a hot dog and a drink... movie theatre style. Since Toy Story 3 just came out, and I just had a baby, I decided to keep it easy with just the movie, cake & presents. No games, no pinata. Just zoned-out kids and a good time.
PS. Did anyone else cry over Toy Story 3? Or was that just my post-preggo hormones? Naw... who am I kidding? I would've cried anyway.

haha, he's Sid and Andy combined. My Dad always commented that he didn't think Sid was that bad. Creative even. Good party mama, my girls would have loved that one too. We watch Toy Story 3 several times a day . . .
Happy Birthday, Chase. Cianna can't wait to play with you and Izzy soon.
Stacey, you weren't alone about the teary Toy Story 3 viewing. I think the baby doll character acted too much like Immy at this age and it really disturbed me to see it so ill treated. I guess it was somewhat comforting to see it "adopted" by Barbie and Ken at the end, but it was overall a darker Toy Story.
By the way, I love the music on your blog. I just leave it on for a while when I've finished catching up.
i cried three times during that movie...it was SO emotional!
