It was crossing the street, heading towards our driveway where the kids were playing. So I jumped into protective mama mode, grabbed a bucket & trapped it. Uck. I still have the heebie-jeebies just thinking about how big & fast it was. The size of my hand: outstretched fingers & all.

So I'm here at y'all's place reading your blog, the kids are asleep and..."Hmm, Alabama memories?---THE FRONT YARD!?!?!" And now I've got the heebade-ba-jeebadees. Thank you sis.
You are one brave pregnant mama!
that is SICKENING!!!!!!!!! you are so good. way to be.
What?!??!? There are tarantulas in UT? That's it, sorry love, but I'm never living there again.
In all honesty though, I am thoroughly impressed you caught him. Way to go protective mommy!!! They're fast I hear too- fast like mice! I would have screamed bloody murder, grabbed my babies, ran into the house, slammed and locked all the doors, and hidden us all under the covers of our bed until Daddy came home- and yes, even if he was on a deployment. I might have snuck out occasionally to quickly grab snacks. bbq chips possibly.
You're my hero.
What?? There are tarantulas in Utah?! Wow, even I would be too scared to catch him, and you know I'm not scared of spiders. I'm so proud of you.
P.S. I haven't checked blogs FOREVER! I just hopped on your blog and realize I have a lot of good reading ahead of me! Way to go on blogging so well, especially after having a baby!
