Lots of people ask me if Tait is enjoying his job. I think that, besides those jobs where you're paid to sample ice cream or play video games, it doesn't get any better than this. He is basically paid to boat down a river checking fishing licenses, shoot several different types of guns, hike the mountains, and catch crazy animals. A nature lover's dream come true. Not to mention, he has his very own Ford truck that made him giddier than a kid on Christmas morning. Don't get me wrong: he works, and he works hard. It isn't all fun & games. But usually the toughest part of his day is catching a feisty badger or rattle snake, & then bringing it home to show the neighborhood kids. At this very moment I have a rattlesnake, stuffed moose head, an ATV and a set of elk antlers with the skull still attached just sitting in my garage. Is that random, or what? So this post goes out to you, Ranger Joe. I'm glad you found your dream job, and glad that we could be a part of it.
Ps. If any of you are around & want to see our next wild animal exhibit, let me know & I'll give you a call.

Where the line between work & play is
very thin.

Yeah that moose head scared the crap out of me when I walked into your garage. In an effort to censor my already censored profanity around the kids what came out was something along the lines of "HOLY BULLWINKLE!" if your kids start yelling this, I blame Tait.
A perfect dad for kids. How fun is that!
Nice looking blog, by the way.
