Tait got his dream job!!! As of yesterday, he is officially a Conservation Officer for the Wildlife Department. We are SO proud of him. This has been his dream ever since he was a nature loving child, running around barefoot after animals, and sleeping in the barn with the horses. I'm not actually sure if that is true, but you get the jist of it. He has worked so hard to get here. Now, I know he isn't actually a park ranger like in the picture, but ever since he told me what he wanted to be, I have had this picture stuck in my head. But his job is actually much tougher than I realized, and I am still trying to deal with that. Apparently, he will be trained to be a police officer and will be chasing ARMED poachers, deep in the woods, with very little back-up. I don't know why my husband feels the need to catch bad guys in EVERYTHING he does (military and now this), but I do respect him immensely for it. Even though it does terrify me a little when I think about it. I think all those Larson boys played Cops & Robbers too much when they were kids (there are 3 military men, one cop, and one lawyer). Anyways, wish us luck & I will try to post some pictures of what he really looks like in his new uniform.
